The Walking Dead is a monthly black-and-white American comic book series published by Image Comics beginning in 2003. The comic was created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore, who was replaced by Charlie Adlard from issue #7 onward, although Moore continued to do the covers through issue #24.

The series follows a small group of survivors traveling across the desolate United States in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse as they search for a new home away from the shuffling hordes of the undead. Led by Rick Grimes, a former sheriff's deputy, the group's increasing desperation to survive pushes them to the brink of insanity. At every turn they are faced with unspeakable horrors, both from those who are dead, and from the scattered remains of a struggling human populace. The series won the 2010 Eisner Award for Best Continuing Series at San Diego Comic-Con International. A television series was announced to be in production on August 11, 2009 and premiered on October 31, 2010 on AMC with a 70-minute premiere episode, during the network's "Fearfest". AMC has renewed the series for a second and third season.

The Walking Dead is also an episodic adventure video game with action and role-playing elements based on Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic book series for iOS, Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game was developed by Telltale Games. The game is told from the point of view of a new character named Lee Everett, who will be the only controllable character in the game. Lee will however be able to interact with the other survivors and his actions will influence the plot in particular ways (at some point Lee will have to choose whom to save from the dead, and therefore by letting the other individual perish, some of the game plot will change, while other parts will remain unchanged).

#1. Spell check all your stories and poetry. There is no excuse for not performing this duty. If you do not have a word processor that has the spell checking feature, use a search engine such as Google.com to find one.
#2. Proofread all entries for grammar and other aspects of writing before submission. 'Hot off the press' content is often riddled with errors. No one is perfect but it is the duty of the writer to perform to the best of his/her ability.
#3. When posting fanfiction please remember to Title Your Posts. Especially Chapter Stories [EXAMPLE: "Jeremiah was a bullfrog, Two, Three (or 1/20), etc." or "Zombie's delight - ONE SHOT/DRABBLE].
#4. When leaving Reviews or Comments be courteous to the author and do not flame them (the same can be said to the authors as well). Offer them constructive criticism on the things they could imrpove instead if you didn't like something. If you disagree with something or a certain type of fanfiction, then stay away from it. Do not venture beyond the reading the prompt.
#5. Absolutely no character / pairing Bashing. The same rules above apply to this. If a certain pairing or character bothers you, then stay away from it.
#6. Remember to label your fanfiction with warnings to give the reader a heads up on the content inside your stories.
#7. Label your stories with the proper ratings (See: Fanfiction Ratings for an example)

#9. DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE A LIVEJOURNAL CUT? CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT HOW. Fanfiction not placed under a cut are under threat of being deleted. Think fast, you only have until the end of the day (12:00am) to correct the error.
#10. When Posting graphics for fanfiction (like a banner created for a certain story) please keep the image between 300x300 / 400x400 (or 500x150 and smaller) pixles. Nothing can exceed the stylesheet.
#11. Please remember to USE THE TAGS provided. Stories will be tagged with the authors name among other things.
#12 Feel Free to post whatever you want in your journal or your community, But, PLEASE make it PUBLIC, DO NOT make our members Join your community.
#13. NO REAL PERSON FANFICTION.
#14. To avoid spammers, flamers and trolls, to become a member you must have an active/established account that you post on a semi-regular basis. If you've been rejected then it is because of the following:
+ There are zero to no entries on your personal journal since it's inception.
+ You have no associates (friends) nor are you a member of any communities.
+ Your journal is new and not established.
